Visit one of the city's modernist architectural landmarks and celebrate Preservation Houston's accomplishments over the past year during PH's 2015 Annual Meeting, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Cullen Hall on the University of St. Thomas campus.

We'll recognize Jane-Page Crump and thank her for her dedicated service as Preservation Houston president and welcome incoming Board President John N. Cryer III. You'll hear about the activities and educational efforts Preservation Houston was involved in over the preceding 12 months, including the successful Cornerstone Dinner and Good Brick Tour, historic landmark designations and ongoing efforts to preserve the iconic Astrodome.

We will also have the pleasure of welcoming guest speakers architect David Bucek, Good Brick Award recipient Glen Rosenbaum, and historic preservation consultant Anna Mod who will discuss the varied aspects of Houston's distinctive Mid-Century Modern architecture.

Admission to the Annual Meeting is complimentary and open to Preservation Houston members and guests. Meet other PH members while enjoying a wine and '50s-inspired hors d'oeuvres reception from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., followed by a brief business meeting at 7:15 and the Mid-Century Houston panel discussion at 7:45. RSVP for the meeting by Friday, June 5.
