In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, we've decided to forego our usual Fall Party format in favor of an event that will raise funds to help Preservation Houston offer support to the owners of flood-damaged historic homes and buildings. Although many historic neighborhoods in Houston escaped major flooding during the storm, a number of significant historic properties were damaged. All Fall Party tickets include a tax-deductible donation to Preservation Houston that will be used to assist the owners of those properties with consulting and recovery services.

In addition, the Fall Party will celebrate New Hope Housing at Brays Crossing, the winner of the 2017 Pier & Beam Future Landmark Award. Pier & Beam presents the Future Landmark Award each year to recognize exceptional new construction in Houston that is making a positive impact on the city's built environment.

We're offering two types of Fall Party tickets: one that includes an annual Pier & Beam membership for an individual or a couple, and one that does not include membership. Pier & Beam membership includes a variety of benefits and special opportunities, including invitations to members-only events, free or discounted admission to Preservation Houston tours and lectures, and a vote for the Future Landmark Award. We hope you'll choose to join P&B or renew your membership when you purchase your Fall Party ticket.

We would love for you to be part of our annual event — especially now, when some of Houston's historic buildings need help. Reserve your tickets online, and we'll see you on September 28.
