2018 Pier & Beam Fall Party

Join Pier & Beam, Preservation Houston's next-generation member group, for our annual Fall Party membership and fundraising event Thursday evening, November 15, at the historic Eldorado Ballroom in Third Ward.

The Fall Party is a chance to mark another year of Pier & Beam's growth, connect with our members and celebrate the winner of the 2018 Future Landmark Award: the Raymond and Susan Brochstein Pavilion at Rice University. This year, we're celebrating in a special venue. The Eldorado Ballroom, which opened in 1938, was one of Houston's premier spots for jazz, blues and R&B for years; since 1999 the venue has been owned by Project Row Houses, which is planning for its restoration.

Fall Party tickets will be available at the door for $75 for an individual and $110 for a couple.

In addition to food from Half Moon Kitchen; drinks from Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company and Under the Radar Brewery; and music by Flash Gordon Parks and the Andrew Gordon Quartet, every Fall Party ticket includes an annual membership in Pier & Beam and Preservation Houston, Houston's only citywide historic preservation nonprofit education and advocacy group.

In addition, the Fall Party will celebrate the Raymond & Susan Brochstein Pavilion at Rice University, the winner of the 2018 Pier & Beam Future Landmark Award. Pier & Beam presents the Future Landmark Award each year to recognize exceptional new construction in Houston that is making a positive impact on the city's built environment.

The Fall Party is a great way to renew your Pier & Beam membership and to bring friends into the organization. Reserve your tickets now, and please pass the word along to your network — you'll find a Facebook event here, and you can click on the invitation to download a PDF version.

We would love for you to be part of our annual event. Please join us on November 15!
