Pier & Beam, one of Houston’s fastest-growing young professional groups, invites you to its annual Fall Party membership and fundraising event on Thursday evening, October 27, at The Parador, a stunning 1920s space in the Museum District.
The Fall Party will mark Pier & Beam's third birthday, celebrate our growth in the past year, preview some new programs and honor the winner of the 2016 Pier & Beam Future Landmark Award, the McGovern Centennial Gardens and Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion at Hermann Park. Pier & Beam gives the Future Landmark Award each year to recognize exceptional new construction in Houston that is making a positive impact on the city's built environment.
Funds raised will benefit Pier & Beam, an initiative of Preservation Houston, Houston’s only citywide non-profit historic preservation education and advocacy organization. We’re a group of next-generation preservationists who share a passion for Houston’s architecture, art, history and culture. We believe in preserving and giving new life to significant buildings and landscapes, promoting sustainability and smart growth, and fostering vibrant, livable neighborhoods.
We would love for you to be a part of our annual event. Tickets include annual membership in Pier & Beam and Preservation Houston, and your support helps Pier & Beam shape the future of preservation in Houston.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available; to become a sponsor, or if you have questions, please e-mail us or call (713) 510-3990.
We hope to see you October 27!
