Our fall all-member happy hour is coming up — now with a new date and location. Join us for a relaxed evening with your fellow Preservation Houston and Pier & Beam members from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, at Brasil, 2604 Dunlavy Street.
Brasil opened in 1992 at the corner of Westheimer and Dunlavy, occupying a 1930 building that had previously housed a bicycle and lawn mower shop. One of Houston’s early specialty coffeehouses, Brasil has evolved into a café, restaurant and bar known for its food, drinks, art and inviting patio. Preservation Houston recognized Brasil earlier this year with a special Historic Stewardship honor as part of our inaugural class of Houston legacy restaurants.
And if you needed one more reason to join us on a Tuesday: Brasil offers half off all bottles of wine.
Whether you’ve been a PH member for years or are just getting involved, our all-member happy hours are an easy way to meet others who share your interest in Houston’s history and architecture. You’ll also have a chance to catch up with the PH team, hear about what’s coming up and talk preservation in a casual setting.
Feel free to bring a friend or two. As always, our happy hours are casual: Come when you can, leave when you’re ready and pick up your own tab. You'll find us on the back patio at Brasil.
