Glenwood Cemetery

Glenwood Cemetery is one of Houston’s most treasured landmarks. Nestled along Buffalo Bayou, it offers a peaceful setting of century-old oaks, winding paths, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Home to many of the city’s most influential leaders and cultural figures, Glenwood serves as both a place of remembrance and a reflection of Houston’s history. With its impressive monuments, sculptures, and mausoleums, it is often admired as an outdoor museum of art and architecture. Whether visiting for history, reflection, or burial services, Glenwood remains a meaningful part of the city’s heritage.

Taste of Texas

In 1977, our family opened the Taste of Texas Restaurant in Town and Country Village and welcomed our first customer in the door. In the years that followed, we survived oil booms, oil busts, moved to a new location, and have seen our Houston Astros win the World Series…twice!

Italian Cultural & Community Center of Houston

In 1976, the Italian Cultural & Community Center (ICCC) of Houston was formed as an umbrella organization. The ICCC coordinated the activities of more than 20 Italian clubs in the greater Houston area. ICCC Houston became a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)(3) status in 1982. With the proceeds from its earliest fundraising efforts, ICCC purchased the historic Milford House in Houston’s Museum District in 1988, which became home to the Italian Cultural & Community Center.
