2018 Membership Reception and Meeting in photos

More than 150 Preservation Houston members and friends met in City Hall's Legacy Room on June 4 to recap Preservation Houston's accomplishments over the past year — and reflect on the organization's 40-year history — during the 2018 Membership Reception and Meeting.

The program for the evening was a panel discussion with early PH members Minnette Boesel, Betty Chapman and Stephen Fox, who talked about the organization's founding in 1978 as Greater Houston Preservation Alliance and some of the early preservation challenges the group faced. During the meeting, Executive Director David Bush  highlighted some of the work Preservation Houston carried out in the previous year, including coordinating with local, state and national officials in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. PH President Deborah Keyser recognized retiring board members Mickey Ables, Jane-Page Crump, John Cryer and Diane Ofner for their service to the organization.
